Consultant Neurodevelopmental Paediatrician
Dr Omar is a senior consultant neuro-developmental paediatrician, experienced in management of a wide range of Neurodevelopmental (Neurodiversity) problems in children and adolescents. In addition to his full UK General Medical Council Specialist Registration, he is a senior member and a fellow of different UK Royal Colleges.
Dr Omar has more than 23 years’ experience. Most of these years have been spent in the United Kingdom’s NHS departments, managing a wide range of children and adolescent problems till the age of 18 years. He has several years of UK consultant experience in the Neurodevelopmental field.
Dr Omar, has a special expertise in the diagnosis and management of Neurodiversity conditions like Autism, ADHD, Learning Difficulties, in addition to Epilepsy, sleep problems and more. Being a lead of Autism and ADHD diagnosis panels, he is used to chair Multi-Disciplinary Teams (MDTs) to tailor treatment plans for children and adolescents in the UK. He is bi-lingual with a wide cross-cultural work experience.
