Dr. Grace is a Consultant Psychiatrist and Medical Psychotherapist at The Behman Hospital, Cairo Egypt and Maadi Psychology Center. She is licensed with the General Medical Council in the United Kingdom and currently sees clients online at the International Clinic in London.

She specializes in dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), as well as other treatments such as cognitive behavioral therapy, prolonged exposure therapy and psychopharmacology for borderline personality disorder. She is selected as trainer in training with DBT MENA, the sole affiliate with Behavioral Tech – Linehan Institute. She has been awarded with the Practitioner Diploma with the National Center for Eating Disorders in the United Kingdom.

Dr. Grace is the Founding Director of the DBT Program at the Maadi Psychology Center and at The Behman Hospital. Dr. Grace’s passion lies in teaching and dissemination of evidence-based treatments for complex psychological presentations. Dr. Grace provides individual therapy to adolescents, young adults, adults, and parents’ support. She provides comprehensive DBT with skills-based coaching and support to family members of individuals with emotion dysregulation.

Dr. Grace completed her medical training at October 6th University – School of Medicine, class of 2010. She had her internship at Kasr il Aini, Cairo University, as well as a trainee at The Behman Hospital. She started working as a registrar at The Behman Hospital in 2012 and was appointed as senior registrar in 2014. Dr. Grace received training in St. Marys Hospital, London, Neurology Department, Stroke Unit.
She was awarded The Arab Board of Psychiatry (ABPsych) in 2016 and became a member of The Royal College of Psychiatrists in 2017.

She also dedicates time for awareness of mental health conditions in the media.

Dr. Grace is bilingual in both Arabic and English.
