Clinical Psychologist
Reece is a Canadian Clinical Psychologist from Montréal, Québec who was trained in Australia. He has advanced qualifications in several therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR).
Reece is trained and qualified to perform child and adult Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) assessments and therapeutic intervention to manage ADHD symptoms and related behaviours. He is also qualified to treat pain disorders such as chronic pain and fibromyalgia, and alcohol and drug use disorders.
Reece was also trained in Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP) in Australia at New South Wales’ Mayo Private Hospital and Specialist Centre, and received clinical training at the University of New England where he also lectured and tutored psychology.
He has also worked as a clinical psychologist with the New South Wales Department of Education, and the Queensland Departments of Justice and Attorney General, and Youth Justice in a forensic capacity.
Reece is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS); EMDR Association of Australia; Australian and New Zealand Association for Psychiatry, Psychology and Law (ANZAPPL); Australian Clinical Psychologists’ Association (ACPA) and is registered with the Allied Health Professionals’ Association of Australia (AHPRA).
Reece is available to see clients of all ages and therapy is available in English and French. He also speaks German.
