Clinical Psychologist

Reece is a Canadian Clinical Psychologist from Montréal, Québec who was trained in Australia. He has advanced qualifications in several therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy (ST), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR).

Reece has also achieved The Gottman Method Level 3 training for couples and relationship assessment and therapy, and is on certification track for Emotionally Focussed Therapy (EFT) for individuals, couples and families.

Reece is trained and qualified to perform child and adult assessments for Neurodivergent Spectrum Disorders such as Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). He offers therapeutic intervention to manage ADHD symptoms and related behaviours, and Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). He is also qualified to treat personality disorders, mood disorders such as depression and bipolar disorder, PTSD and trauma, pain disorders such as chronic pain and fibromyalgia, and alcohol and drug use disorders. He also sees clients for anxiety and anxiety spectrum disorders such as generalised anxiety disorder (GAD) and obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD).
Reece was also trained in Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP) in Australia at New South Wales’ Mayo Private Hospital and Specialist Centre, and received clinical training at the University of New England where he also lectured and tutored psychology.

He has also worked as a clinical psychologist with the New South Wales Department of Education, and the Queensland Departments of Justice and Attorney General, and Youth Justice in a forensic capacity.
Reece is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS); EMDR Association of Australia; Australian and New Zealand Association for Psychiatry, Psychology and Law (ANZAPPL); Australian Clinical Psychologists’ Association (ACPA) and is registered with the Allied Health Professionals’ Association of Australia (AHPRA).

Reece is available to see clients of all ages and therapy is available in English, French, and German.
