Rym R. Hamdan is an experienced Lebanese clinical psychologist & psychotherapist, providing psychoanalytic approach, specialized in children & adult psychotherapy.
She completed her bachelor degree in psychology from the Lebanese American University & her masters degree from the Balamand University. She also finished her 6 years Formation in Psychoanalytic Therapy with one of the most famous psychotherapists & founders in Lebanon, Professor Lela Chikhani.
Rym has been working for 10 years in the clinical field providing therapy for children, adolescents & adults experiencing various behavioral changes, learning difficulties, relational conflicts & personality problems through Psychoanalytic approach. She also has experience in working with NGOs & refugees in various fields including Drug addiction, Post traumatic stress Disorder due to war, Gender based violence & Child Protection.
Rym is experienced in working with children & teens exposed to sexual/psychological/physical abuse, behavioral problems, self-harm, suicide, drug/alcohol/gambling addiction, anger/stress/emotional management. Also, she has been working with adults guiding them through Marital, Premarital, divorce, & codependency issues. She also worked in the field of mental illness as bipolar disorders, anxiety, panic attacks & major depression.
Through her journey in working with school children she expanded her experience in parental guidance offering support for parents regarding the emotional, behavioral & educational difficulties their children experience at school, and guide them to accept & support their kids in how to develop their own sense of independency.
