Sherry has been working in the educational field since 2013 and has found her passion in the field of special educational needs in 2017. She has completed her Master's degree in Psychology from the University of South Wales, UK. Through her work as an educational therapist, Sherry conducts initial assessments and screenings in order to integrate their results in developing a wide range of applicable strategies for teaching.
Sherry integrates a multi-sensory and holistic approach to educational therapy that focuses on supporting the students' social, emotional, and academic development. She is also a Positive Discipline Parenting Educator, certified by the Positive Discipline Association in California, who strives to support every parent she works with on their unique parenting journey with all its joys and struggles. Sherry has conducted a number of training workshops for parents, teachers, and other professionals in the field on techniques for supporting students with special educational needs holistically.
Ms. Maher is currently seeing clients in the Learning Intervention Unit, New Cairo.
